PSLE, O-Level and A-Level Results Dates 2026/2027

PSLE results come out on 24 to 25 November 2026, N-Level results before Christmas, O-Level results in mid-January and A-Level results in late February 2027. Here is what happens after each one.

School Holidays 2027 School Holidays

Results day is the one date every Singapore student remembers, and it is also the one that is easiest to lose track of, because each exam releases at a different point in the school calendar. Below are the 2026 results dates MOE has published, what you need to do straight after each one, and what changes in 2027 when the O-Level and N-Level are replaced by a single exam.

MOE gives a two-to-three-day window rather than a single date. The exact day is announced closer to the time, usually through schools and SEAB, so keep an eye on your school’s messages in the week before.

PSLE Results 2026: 24 to 25 November

PSLE results land just after the MOE year-end holidays begin on Saturday 21 November 2026, so Primary 6 pupils will already be on holiday when the results are released. If your child applied through Direct School Admission (DSA-Sec), the allocation outcome comes together with the PSLE results. Everyone else goes through the Secondary 1 posting exercise and submits school choices after results day.

N-Level and O-Level Results: December 2026 and January 2027

N(A)- and N(T)-Level results are scheduled between 17 and 21 December 2026, during the year-end school holidays. O-Level results follow between 13 and 15 January 2027, after the new school year has started. Students then have a short window to apply through the Joint Admissions Exercise for a place at a junior college, Millennia Institute, polytechnic or ITE.

JC1 students who enter through the JAE start school on Wednesday 3 February 2027. Students heading to a polytechnic will start in April with the new academic year, so it is worth reading our polytechnic holiday dates or the ITE holiday calendar to see how different the year looks.

A-Level Results 2027: 19 to 23 February

The 2026 A-Level results are scheduled between Friday 19 and Tuesday 23 February 2027. University applications open around the same time, so results day is also when most JC2 and MI3 students finalise their course choices.

2026 Is the Last Year of the O-Level and N-Level

From 2027, all Secondary 4 students sit a single exam, the Singapore-Cambridge Secondary Education Certificate (SEC), which replaces the separate O-Level, N(A)-Level and N(T)-Level certificates. It follows the move to Full Subject-Based Banding, where students take subjects at different levels instead of being placed in one stream.

For families, the practical change is the calendar. Secondary schools that are used as SEC exam venues end Term 4 earlier than other schools in 2027, on 29 October, and the full SEC timetable will be published by SEAB. We will add the 2027 results dates here as soon as MOE publishes them.
